Privacy
Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and sends nothing about you anywhere. The tools run in your browser, and the only network requests they make are the ones you trigger.
What is collected
Nothing. There is no account, no form that posts anywhere, no cookie, no local storage key and no analytics script. The server that hosts these pages keeps access logs the way every web server does; that is the host's standard logging, not something this site reads.
What leaves your browser
Three tools make requests, and only when you use them:
-
Webfont cost asks
fonts.googleapis.comfor the CSS of the family you typed, then downloads the WOFF2 files it names fromfonts.gstatic.comto count them. Google sees the same request it would see if your own page loaded that font. -
Font specimens load their WOFF2 files directly from
fonts.gstatic.com, because the point of the page is the file Google serves. - Type scale, RTL audit and numerals make no requests at all. Everything they compute stays in the tab.
Text you paste into the RTL audit is never sent anywhere. It is read by a script in the page and forgotten when you close it.
Advertising
The site is built to be funded by advertising, and carries reserved, empty ad slots. When ads are switched on, the network (Google AdSense is the plan) will set cookies and may use your approximate location to choose an ad; that is their behaviour, governed by their own policy, and this page will name the network and link its policy at the moment it is enabled rather than before.
No ad script is loaded today. If that changes, this section changes with it.
Fonts on this site
The fonts used to set the interface, the guides and the tools are self-hosted, subset and
served from this domain. The exception is the font library: a specimen page is about what
Google serves, so it loads that family's WOFF2 files from fonts.gstatic.com
to show you the real thing. Browsing the library index costs no third-party request;
opening a specimen does. The four tools contact nobody except the webfont tool, and only
when you press Measure.

Corrections and questions: hello@nuqta.design. If a number on this site is wrong, that is a bug worth reporting, and it will be measured again rather than argued about.
